This is the news we’ve been dreading. A CBS News report says that the Department of Environmental Conservation is set to announce its decision on fracking by the end of the month.[1]
Fortunately, there’s hope. Governor Cuomo says that he has made “no final decision” about whether to allow fracking.[2]
Governor Cuomo can still stop this dangerous process from going forward. But we have just one more chance to convince the Governor to act.
Sign our petition today and tell Governor Cuomo to use his power to stop fracking and protect our drinking water.

More than 30,000 people have already signed our emergency petition, but it’s not enough. Once you’ve signed, please help us spread the word. Tell your friends and neighbors about the dangers of fracking and have them sign, too.
New York is worth more than the gas under our feet.
Thanks,
-Dan Cantor, WFP
