NY Fracking Conference Call Thursday April 19th @ 7:00pm

Two weeks ago, Food and Water Watch launched the New Yorkers Against Fracking coalition with our allies as a way to bolster the strength of our communities to ban fracking across the state. Join Food and Water Watch for an important call to learn more about the coalition, and how you can get involved.

This Thursday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m., author, biologist and activist Sandra Steingraber — advisor to New Yorkers Against Fracking and organizers from around the state — will speak with us about the important role this statewide ban coalition will play in the upcoming months and how we can help grow this campaign in communities across New York.

New Yorkers across the state have been fighting for a ban on fracking for years — people have been organizing to protect their communities and have succeeded in passing nearly 100 local town bans. With the decision date of whether or not to frack in New York coming closer, we need to work harder, be smarter and keep growing this movement community by community, one person at a time. But we cannot do it without your help!

Please sign up and join the call.

Together we can put Governor Cuomo in a position where he cannot move forward with fracking in New York.
