Once again, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities North America (GRHC) is having an upcoming event in New York City!
The Green Roof Professional (GRP) accreditation program is comprised of four full-day courses that offer participants from a diverse range of disciplines the knowledge and skills required to successfully market, design, budget, install and maintain green roofs. Green Roof Design 101, Green Roof Infrastructure: Design and Installation 201, Green Roof Waterproofing and Drainage 301 and Green Roof Plants and Growing Media 401 are recommended training for individuals preparing to write the accreditation exam. Each course also includes a 100+ page course manual.
Also, the participants of the 2nd course (Green Roof Infrastructure: Design & Installation 201), will have the opportunity to have a tour of the NYC Parks Department’s 29,000 square foot green roof research facility, comprised of over 25 distinct systems.

Green Roof Design 101 (2nd Ed.)
Introduces participants to the numerous public and private benefits of green roofs and presents many of the tools and techniques needed to meet your green roof project objectives.
Green Roof Design and Installation 201
An immensely practical course that provides participants with in-depth information on the multitude of green roof implementation issues from first client meetings through scheduling, insurance and permit issues, site analysis, construction considerations and more.
Green Roof Waterproofing and Drainage 301
Presents an overview of the many tools and techniques needed to meet green roof waterproofing and drainage project objectives.
Green Roof Plants and Growing Media 401
Provides participants with an overview of plants and growing media design considerations and maintenance for green roof assemblies.
